 Our pet’s corner was built by Chris and his Dad through the winter of 2010-2011, and was successfully finished ready for the Easter holidays. They used all recycled wood; some of the wood came from the panel fence around the car park which was damaged in the winter winds, other recycled posts and pallets were donated by a local farmer from Preston Farm in Tarrant Rushton. We have rabbits, guinea pigs, degus, bantams, chickens, budgies and miniature KuneKune pigs. The chickens and bantams lay eggs which are served to our customers.
 There is no admission fee and you are more than welcome to visit the animals at any time during the day. Our local vegetable supplier kindly donates vegetables to feed the animals, and monies raised by the pub throughout the year also help to feed the animals and maintain the area. Donations are also gratefully received as they go towards feeding and looking after our animals.
